 COMUNITY HEALTH SYSTEMS

Many communities facing healthcare delivery system changes are struggling just to maintain their current health care services.  We offer a way to facilitate community evaluation, discussion and decision-making processes addressing access to primary healthcare.

Healthcare Delivery System Activities
  • Providing neutral facilitation of community meetings
  • Assisting with health plan enrollment
  • Sponsoring "best practices" statewide conferences
  • Serving on community boards
  • Conducting needs assessment and guiding developmental activities
  • Reviewing business practices
  • Providing help with technical support issues

Please contact your regional center for more information regarding activities in your area.

We utilize the AHEC Recruitment and Retention Community (ARRC) Model as our framework for health workforce development. The ARRC Model was developed by East Texas AHEC staff as a way to capitalize on AHEC best practice for building the healthcare workforce. A unique aspect of the ARRC Model is its foundation in comunity economic development concepts.
